UP! (trying to avoid spoilers)
I haven't been around much lately. Life has been busy, and that is an understatement.
I saw UP! tonight, however, and wanted to post a quick summary of impressions. I'll try to avoid spoilers, but no guarantees.
Plot: 9/10 GORGEOUS. I was crying through most of the first bit. It was so sweet.
Characters: 7.5/10 Kind of awesome. The talking dogs was a bit much, but they admittedly pulled it off well.
Animation: 6.5/10 *cringe* I want to put this higher. I really, really do. And if it were anyone but Pixar, I would have. But Pixar has a high bar for me, justifiably.
What was wrong here really was the 3D. Upping the price of the ticked by $

The semester of insane stuff happening and much stress is FINALLY FINALLY OVER.
Even better, today I got a shiny piece of paper.
As of about 11:30 this morning, I'm a college graduate with a degree in Biochemistry. WOOT! :D
Freakout commences in 3... 2...

I present my NSS (Senior research that's required to graduate) in two weeks.
To an auditorium full of people.
With a power point presentation that's ideally 20 minutes long.

I've finally cleaned out my ENTIRE inbox!
Um, I'd kinda had stuff piled up since last summer.
There were over 700 deviations at one point.
So, yeah...
Now everything's zero! Finally! A fresh start!
I might actually come on more often again...
... but I probably won't have art... ^^;
Other than that... well, don't ask me about life right now and I won't depress you with it. (Things should look up soon...)

4. Favourite Film: Er. Very hard to choose. Anything Pixar but Cars, anything from the Disney Renaissance, and The Iron Giant are good bets as far as animated stuff goes. Quite a lot of live action stuff, but The Princess Bride is a definite fave.
5. Favourite Song or Album: "Birdhouse in Your Soul"; either the TMBG original version or the cover Ellen Greene and Kristin Chenoweth did for Pushing Daisies.
6. Favourite Band/Artist: Old school: Beethoven. Movie school: John Williams or Michael Giacchino. Someone a person the street has heard of and listens to: Norah Jones.

10. What's your philosophy on life? Always find excuses to be cheerful. It's better to be happy all the time than depressed.
11. Is the bottle half-full or half-empty? Depends on what kind of mood I'm in; I try to be half-full.

13. What is your favourite memory of us? Staying up into the late hours of the night, chatting about stuff on AIM.
